Encontro acontece no final de Agosto com a presença de Danilo do TokuDoc.
Os heróis japoneses sempre fizeram e ainda fazem parte do imaginário dos brasileiros. Sucesso absoluto entre os anos 80 e 90, personagens como Jaspion e Changeman se consagraram na televisão nacional e até hoje são lembrados pelos fãs.
No dia 20 de Agosto na Sala Walter da Silveira (Biblioteca dos Barris) acontece a primeira edição do evento “Asian GO!”. Segundo os idealizadores do evento, o projeto será um encontro que irá trazer em cada edição uma parte da cultura oriental para o público baiano. O primeiro encontro terá como tema os “Tokusatsu”, filmes e seriados japoneses com heróis e monstros gigantes.

O evento ainda terá a presença do YouTuber e agora escritor Danilo Modolo, brasileiro que mora no exterior e tem o maior canal voltado ao gênero. Danilo participará de um bate-papo para promover o seu livro Ultraman (Editora Estronho, 2017), icônico personagem dos anos 60 e claro contar um pouco da sua experiência com o Tokusatsu e a criação do canal “TokuDoc”.
A entrada será um 1Kg de alimento não perecível e começará pontualmente às 14h00 com entrada livre para todos os públicos. O espaço está sujeito à lotação.
